With over 932,000 people directly impacted through clinical trials and observational studies — and 7.2 million patients potentially benefiting from these insights — IOMED is reaffirming its commitment to enabling structured data for life-saving innovations.
In 2024, IOMED's Data Space Platform enabled a significant leap forward in healthcare research and data accessibility.
More than 932,000 people were directly impacted through observational studies, diagnostic support initiatives, and clinical research collaborations. In total, over 7.2 million patients stand to benefit from the insights generated thanks to IOMED Data Space Platform, reflecting the growing importance of real-world data in driving better health outcomes.
A key part of this impact lies in our firm commitment to rare diseases. In 2024:
- 50 mediations were conducted specifically for rare disease research,
- 79,900 people living with a rare condition were directly impacted,
- and over 1.24 million rare disease patients may benefit from improved diagnosis, treatment access, and accelerated research timelines.
These results reflect IOMED’s mission to act as a mediation infrastructure that bridges hospitals and the research ecosystem, unlocking clinical data for secondary use through AI, always in a privacy-compliant and secure environment. This enables faster, fairer, and more effective innovation across healthcare.
