About the job

At IOMED, we are looking for a Clinical Specialist with a background in epidemiology and experience executing clinical or observational research projects to join our team. Your main mission will be to support the design and implementation of Real World Data (RWD) studies  in  collaboration  with  pharmaceutical  companies,  hospitals,  and  medical associations. You  will  work  closely  with  our  clients  to  translate  clinical  questions  into  data-driven research  designs,  helping  ensure the feasibility, quality, and clinical relevance of their projects. Internally, you will be a key bridge between the clinical, sales, operations, and data science teams.

IOMED’s Approach.

IOMED is a leading technology company in the field of healthcare data. It is made up of a united,  dynamic,  and  flexible  team,  which,  after  several  years  of working together, is characterized by its agility, enjoyment of work, and rapport. Accordingly, we are looking for candidates with the desire to innovate, launch a relevant project, and grow with it, always enjoying teamwork and challenges, which are many, every day.  As an employer, we offer equal opportunity. We want to grow our team with talented, dynamic people who want to make their mark in the field of AI, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, physical disability, or age.

What we expect you to do

You  will  have  to  feel  comfortable  giving  support  to the rest of the team and you can definitely expect to:

  • Provide  scientific  and  clinical  support  to  external  stakeholders  (pharma, hospitals, associations) during the design of RWD studies.
  • Guide internal teams by bringing clinical and epidemiological perspective to data structuring, variable definition, and study design.
  • Review  medical  records  and  structured  data  to  ensure  accuracy  and  clinical coherence in data pipelines.
  • Contribute to internal model development by labeling data and supporting our NLP system.
  • Collaborate  with data scientists and engineers to translate study requirements into technical deliverables.
